“Ole” and “Leevke” increasingly sighted in the Old Town and the seaside resort
The fresh design of the Travemünde Week, which was presented for the first time at the boot trade fair in Düsseldorf in January and is already adorning the Priwall ferry and one of the LVG busses, continues to gain momentum and, in addition to numerous marketing tools such as posters, banners, ads will also be used for popular souvenirs and mementos for guests.
A total of three new products featuring Ole and Leevke, the two main characters of the Travemünde Week, are now available, inviting you to take home or share the Travemünde Week feeling, including a pin with a yellow sailing boat (€2) on blue waves or two different enamel mugs (€12.90) for coffee in between, each in a limited edition of 100. In cooperation with Nordbrief, an 80-cent stamp has also been developed to ensure that holiday mail arrives safely at its destination. All souvenirs are now available at the Tourist Office in Travemünde.
Ole and Leevke can also be found in participating shops in Lübeck and Travemünde: Flags, posters, sailboat kits and balloons made of natural rubber will carry the idea of Travemünde Week out into the city and to your home: World Ahoy!
