World-class regatta sailing meets a maritime festival with a big heart. When the who’s who of international sailing meets in Travemünde every year, the spectators are there live and experience the thrilling races on the waves of the Baltic Sea up close from the lively promenades. The “WE” is written in capital letters here: The people of Travemünde, local clubs and associations enrich Travemünde Week with their creativity. The seaside resort becomes a cosmopolitan and international meeting place where top athletes from all over the world come to compete. We look forward to seeing you!

Show sailing in the Trave
Must-See
Sailing and festival in one: Nowhere else can festival visitors get as close to sailing as during Travemünde Week. The arrival and departure of the yachts and dinghies in the Trave, the mooring and casting off at Priwall, Grünstrand or Mövenstein can be experienced directly.
The best place to get a glimpse of the action is at the Trave Races. The short, crisp races are clearly visible from the Trave promenade and are expertly commentated.
The popular Volksbank Rotspon Cup is also one of the show races! Here, the mayor of Lübeck sails against a challenger from politics or business.
