Rondeel and Bertlingstraße

Strolling, shopping and lingering – a relaxed mix of strolling and enjoyment awaits you at the northern festival area. If you arrive at Travemünde Week on foot from Strandbahnhof, Bertlingstraße is the entrance gate to the festival grounds. Here completely different suppliers from trade and handicraft exhibit their products.
Once you reach the beach promenade, the fountain field invites you to relax and linger. In the wine carrée, specialities from the finest wine regions can be savoured with culinary treats – with the best view of the Baltic Sea and a somewhat peaceful distance from the lively action of the Travemünde Week.

Beach Promenade and Rosenberg-Village

Enjoy a stroll along the beach promenade! Here, the delights range from exotic Indian food to specialities from a wide variety of food trucks to the classic combination: fries and grilled sausage. Whether hearty or sweet, the Travemünde Week is sure to meet your taste.e. Along the culinary mile you always have a clear view of the Baltic Sea and the races on the regatta courses.

Brügmanngarten

Welcome to the playground! Every year during Travemünde Week, the green area in the Brügmanngarten is transformed into a large children’s play area. Carousels, bouncy castles, giant slides, bungee trampolines and walk-in water balls guarantee lots of fun. For small breaks in between, the large catering area right next door welcomes you with a view of the play area.

And there’s even more on offer: A wide variety of live concerts await you on the Festival Stage Sunday-Thursday until 10:30 pm and Friday+Saturday until 11 pm.

Bavarian Beer Village Travepromenade

Moin & Servus – the Bavarian Beer Village is back! This summer, coastal breeze meets hearty beer garden atmosphere: the Bavarian Beer Village returns to the Travepromenade. Between the magic of the stalls and the sailing backdrop, you can enjoy freshly tapped beer, pretzels and Bavarian hospitality – in a relaxed atmosphere and with a view of the water. And for those who prefer a culinary trip around the world, there is a street food market along the promenade that will whet your appetite – a delicious break in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Travemünde Week!

König Pilsener Beach Area

The beach terraces at the Nordermole will again become the arena for the Festival Stage, two great Beach Clubs and the large LED Screen for Travemünde Week. The König Pilsener Stage at the Nordermole awaits you on all evenings with a full programme and with the best cover bands: with songs of all styles. Of course, a culinary offer is not to be missed here either: Why not sit down comfortably at the König Pilsener Terrace? Here you will be well supplied with culinary delights and drinks and you will be right in the middle of the festival feeling. For snack to go, there are also numerous food trucks right next door.

In addition, information about the regattas and, of course, pictures from the regatta courses will be shown on the LED Screen. And if you walk a bit out towards the Nordermole you have a wonderful view of the races of the Sailing Champions League and the Segel-Bundesliga.

Beach-clubs

In the evening, the beach at the Nordermole becomes a party zone. Two beach clubs invite you to celebrate. The club “Caribbean Island” offers Latin, Salsa and live music, the “Party-House-Club” plays up with main stream and clubhouse.

Sailors’ Village

The central contact point for all sailors and those interested in sailing is the Sailors’ Village. All information about the races is available from the race office, and the winners of the various championships and rankings are awarded here at the end of the races. Travemünde Week partner Marinepool invites you to maritime shopping.

With views of the river Trave, evenings end really relaxed here.

Day trips

Be up close and personal when the who’s who of sailing sails rousing races on the Baltic Sea every day! During the event regattas take place in very different boat classes. Annual championships – such as German, European or World Championships – are also held here.
And you can be there live from aboard one of the many ships that sail out on the Trave and Baltic Sea, with an unobstructed view of the exciting races.

Galerie Hafenpanorama

Travemünde artists offer an exciting insight into their maritime art and creativity. In the light-flooded cruise terminal at Ostpreußenkai painters and photographers from the seaside resort of Travemünde and the region will present their works of art on the themes of the sea, ships, beaches, wind and sailing. In addition, a colorful, free workshop program and many other programme highlights await you here every day.

Artists such as Inga Prasse, Mara Heidi Sieber, Heidi Metzner, Sabine Schöne, Maia Bald, Eva-Maria Schulze, Heike Schmaland, Jacek Krefft, Gerd Rehme, Claus Oldörp, Christine Löwa, Anna Weber, Regina Götting, Frauke Klatt, Angela Detmers, Ali Alarm and Wim Westfield will be taking part.

A highlight this year is Galerie Drei-König from Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, which is bringing selected works of art by Salvador Dali to Travemünde.

It’s back – and more beautiful than ever! The White Wheel, the imposing Ferris wheel with its elegant white look, is once again doing its rounds directly on the beach this year. A real highlight that provides what is probably the most beautiful view of the event. High above the hustle and bustle, a breathtaking view opens up over the Bay of Lübeck, the promenade and the colorful festival events. Whether at sunset, in the glow of the evening lights or completely relaxed during the day – a ride on the White Wheel is definitely one of those moments that will stay with you.

LN Children’s and family day

Fun for young and old guests on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025

On Tuesday, Travemünde Week belongs entirely to families! The Lübecker Nachrichten Children’s and Family Day is all about discovering, taking part and saving money. By showing the LN app, you’ll receive at least 20% off food, non-alcoholic drinks, rides, and children’s activities with admission. At the LN Buzz, the LN team looks forward to welcoming all children who enjoy skill-based games and want to win cool prizes.

Look forward to a colorful additional program with games, creative stations and little surprises (details to follow shortly). A day to romp, laugh and enjoy – in the middle of the maritime festival hustle and bustle!

A summer’s day at Travemünde Week with cool drinks on the quay! On board the Mare Frisium, the crew will not only serve you refreshments from the bar, but will also open the doors of the historic three-mast schooner: during the “Open Ship Bar” times, you will not only feel the unique maritime flair, but also go on a discovery tour. Discover the windjammers on and below deck, chat to the captain and crew and get to know the Mare Frisium better!

Sustainability hub

You can actively participate in the Sustainability Hub of the Travemünde Week and help protect the climate, nature, clean oceans and promote fair cooperation! There’s plenty to discover and get involved with in our pavilion: You can get your climate certificate, find out about sun and heat protection, and learn what social sustainability means in practice, such as how we can treat each other fairly and be inclusive.

We will also introduce you to the exciting ‘Catch of the Day’ programme and explain how our tree-planting campaign in 2024 will help make travelling to and from the Travemünde Week more climate-friendly. You will also have the opportunity to purchase trees again in 2025 to offset your carbon footprint.

The hub is run by Khulula and Multiversum, two companies that dedicate their time and energy to promoting sustainability in sport, everyday life, and business. Come along, join in, and contribute your ideas!

With an unobstructed view of the Trave, the dance terrace in front of the Pesel is the setting for a vibrant programme of events during Travemünde Week. In the afternoon, it is the turn of the children and teenagers, while in the evening, all guests can look forward to a daily dance party. The programme includes everything from discofox and merengue to salsa.
